After being successfully admitted as an international student at the University of Aberdeen, I was awarded the 2017-2018 Aberdeen International Master’s Scholarship that included a £2,000 tuition discount.

I took part in a photo competition organized by the University of Aberdeen after I got my offer of acceptance. I won the cash prize of £500 that contributed towards my relocation to Aberdeen.

During my internship with the Medical Research Council In Uganda, I developed an abstract for a research project and my abstract was one of those picked to be in the internship competition. Being shortlisted involved us giving an oral presentation for which I received a certificate.
