Reina Camacho Toro > Other Awards
The program aims to inspire, train and motivate physics and mathematics university students with some focus on science and technology lagging countries, to help build the next generation of scientists. Activities have been organized in Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay and Argentina.

HELEN was an alpha EU program with the objective of train young generations of physicists in High Energy Physics, in which Europe is world leader, thereby promoting fundamental physics in Latin American countries and contributing to the modernization of physics education there. It allowed me to do an internship in the LPNHE in Paris of 8 months. These were my first steps in the particle physics world.
