Paola Nogales Ascarrunz is a Bolivian biologist and National Geographic Explorer focused on carnivore conservation, especially wild cats. Through her initiative PIF Bolivia (www.pifbolivia.com), she combines conservation genomics and fieldwork to generate knowledge that drives real-world conservation actions.
