As a researcher and Assistant Professor, I have demonstrated strong leadership in addressing environmental issues in the Middle East and Mediterranean region. My interdisciplinary research focuses on developing cost-effective, energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and innovative mineralization technology to enhance carbon capture by incorporating agricultural waste-derived biochar. I received a research grant award in several carbon footprints projects with United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) and led diverse projects with a team, and published projects in Scopus-indexed journals, and international conference.
