Thanks to my academic success during my BSc in Chemistry at the University of Milan, Italy, I was awarded a one-year DAAD scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service, which allowed me to fund my MSc abroad. A second extension of my grant allowed me to carry out my final Master’s thesis on computational chemistry and drug discovery at the Wolfson Institute for Biomedical Research, University College London, UK.
